Good afternoon peeps,
Hope you are all well and not buried too deeply in snow!!
We had a light dusting here in Horncastle last night but it was all pretty slushy by the morning so not too bad just really chilly.
Anyway I have a card to share with you today that I have made for the Basic Grey Challenge as the lovely Cathy has asked me to join them for another couple of challenges as their Guest Designer. Thanks so much Cathy I have loved being a part of your fab team, and of course Basic Grey is a must have in my stash anyway.
The theme for this challenge is Easter so a nice easy one.
The beautiful image is from Sugar Nellie and is coloured with my Promarkers. The gorgeous spring DP's are from the Basic Grey collection 'Kissing Booth'. I created the shaped card using Grand Nesties Labels 23 and the flowers and ribbon came from my stash.
Keep warm on this wintery weekend and I be back soon

Especially for Mum
Evening Peeps,
Yay! I finally think Mr Mojo is back on my side or maybe I just made a card for the best friend in my life my mum. As many of you know yellow is not my first choice but it just seemed right somehow.

I used the beautiful Tilda with lilacs and coloured her with my Pro's. The gorgeous DP's are from the 'Wisteria' collection by Basic Grey. I have faux stitched pretty much everything and then distressed with Pumice Stone DI and Platinum Stickles. The scrummy butterfly edge is from Tim Holtz by Sizzix and I layered it with more papers from BG.
I am entering this into the following fab challenges:
MDUC - #187 'Happy Birthday to MDUC' (Huge congrats to you all on your 4th birthday!!)
Magnolia Mania - #65 'Butterflies'
I Love Promarkers - 'Ribbons and Bows'
Tilda's Town - #43 'Anything Seasonal'
Stamptacular Sunday - #206 'To DIE For'
Ok that's all from me, I hope you like my little corner of blogland and thank so much for popping by.

GDT Creation for Basic Grey Challenges
Good Evening peeps,
Sorry so late with this post but Blogger decided it no longer liked my pictures so have had to find devious routes to get my pics on my posting.
Anyway, I have another creation to share with you that I made for my last Basic Grey Challenges GDT spot. The challenge this fortnight is again super easy 'Spring Is In The Air' so think floral, fresh etc but please remember you need to include at least one item from Basic Grey.

I used the gorgeous papers from the Picadilly collection and covered this fabulous ribbon box. Everything is distressed with Frayed Burlap DI then I added some beautiful die cuts from Memory Box and a super cute Tilda.
Anyway I hope you pop over to Basic grey Challenges, they are a fab team and you'll find loads of inspiration over there.
Thanks to the whole team for having me as your GD I have loved working with you.
Wishing all mum's a very Happy Mother's Day I hope you are all spoilt rotten.
See you all soon

Guest Design Spot for Basic Grey with Tilda on her Scooter
Morning folks,
Back once again after another bout of hospital visits as hubby went through op number 4 last week, but hopefully that was the last one.
So I am here today to share with you my GDT creation for the fabulous challenge over at Basic Grey Challenges
I am thrilled to join such a talented group for a couple of challenges as their Guest Designer and the challenge this time is super easy 'Anything Goes' but remember you must use at least one item from the huge Basic Grey range.
I decided to use the gorgeous paper from the Plumeria collection and as I hadn't made a shaker card for ages that's where my creation started. I love this Tilda on her scooter with her bunches poking out from under her helmet she looks adoreable. All coloured with my trusty Promarkers. The shaker bubble is actually the packaging from a roll of tape so good for recycling too.
I punched out loads of leaves from coordinating sheets of Bazzill and added them to my shaker. The beautiful flower die is from Memory Box and is called Honey Blossom Sprig (a firm favourite of mine!) I then added lots of pearls and ribbon and the project was finished
Sorry so many pics but I find shaker cards a little tricky to photograph. Well so hope you like it and make sure you go and check out the other beautiful projects from the Basic Grey Team

Dreaming of Edwin!!
Evening folks,
Well time to share with you another Tilda project. This card has been a bit of a marathon for me and has been designed and redesigned at least 20 times in the last few days. With all the elements I wanted to include I knew it had to be a big card so it is a 8.5" square which is softened by the MS Punch Around The Page.
I used the gorgeous Dp's from Basic Greys 'Plumeria' collection and faux stitched round all the edges then distressed them with Pumice Stone DI. I coloured the beautiful Tilda with my Distress Markers, then added some stunning lace and flowers from my stash. I added white paint to the edges for a bit of a shabby chic feel.

The whole card was centered around wanting to use this gorgeous metal plaque. I first distressed it a little with white paint. Then I stamped the super cute mini Groom Edwin and coloured him with my Promarkers then coated him with 2 coats of Glossy Accents to give an enamel feel.
Everything was then finished with the beautiful Doo Hickey butterflies and some Memory Box flourishes.
I am entering this into the following fab challenges:
MDUC - #181 'Wings'
Totally Tilda - #64 'Photo Inspiration'
Inky Chicks - #2 'Becky's Bingo Grid' (HOUSE!!!)
ABC - 'F for Favourite Tilda'
Basic Grey Challenges - #86 'Love Is In The Air'
Ribbon Girls Magnolia Only - #1 'Use Ribbons or Lace'
Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia - #61 'Ribbon or Lace'
That's all from me today

Another Little Secret Gift Box for Someone Special
Good evening folks
Woohoo, I have finally managed to defeat bloggers gremlins and post some pics!! Thank you for all your concern and lovely messages and I have already told myself off for not posting something to let you know I was ok I was just getting sooo mad with blogger.
Anyway back to the crafting. I wanted to share with you another little gift box that I made for a very special friend of mine and I filled each tray to the brim with homemade fudge mmmm yummy!
Grab yourself a cuppa as there are quite a few pics!!
To create the beautiful shaped edge of the box lid and base I used the MS Cherish PATP. The beautiful lattice corner die is from Joy Crafts and the loral wreath die is from Memory Box and definately one of my all time faves. I used my trusty Promarkers to colour my beautiful Maggies and edged everything else with Pumice Stone DI (I just love this on white card) and Platinum Stickles.
The gorgeous Poinsettia die is from Spellbinders, then I scattered lots of pearls around.
Oops! nearly forgot the scrumptious patterned card is by Nitwits and is such a joy to use. The Happy Christmas Tag stamp is from Magnolia but I changed the sentiment using masking.
I just love the way these boxes open and it is surprising how much you can fit in them. Hope you like it and as long as blogger behaves I promise to be back much quicker to share more creations with you.
I am entering this into the following challenges:
Inky Chicks - Challenge #1 'Anything Goes'
MDUC - Challenge #178 'Anything Goes'
Totally Gorjuss - 'Anything Goes with Ribbon'
Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia - Challenge #60 'Something New' (This is the first time I have inked up the lovely Tilda with gifts)
I Love Promarkers - #150 'Tag It' (I used my Magnolia ticket stamp to create a tag on the side of the box for my message)
Stampin for the Weekend - 'Anything Goes'
Bye for now

A Gift From The Heart
Good evening folks,
I thought it was about time I shared another project with you and this time it is a gift box that I've made to hold my fab Big sister's Christmas pressie. I love her to bits and miss her so much as she is still down in Essex but everyone will be coming to mine for Christmas so we will get to catch up very soon, can't wait!!
Anyway enough waffling from me. I love making anything 3 dimensional so making boxes is a passion of mine and I must say I got a little carried away with this one.
I have coloured all the cute Tilda's with Distress Markers. The box lid and base were punched with my fave MS 'Cherish' punch. I then used the 'Catalina Wreath' die from Memory Box and the 'Layered Poinsettia' nestie. The DP is from Magnolia's Christmas collection from last year. I have faux stitched practically everything and then distressed with Pumice Stone DI and added loads of sparkle with Platinum Stickles. The cute Merry Christmas tags and the sentiment are also Maggie stamps. The amazing sketch came from MDUC and I have to say I loved using it.
A few extra pics to show the rest of the box:
