Glitter, Glitter Everywhere...and a New Magical Blogspot!

Good morning peeps.

Well it's finally here, the launch of a great new challenge blog Magical Monday Challenge and I am really honoured to be part of their fab DT. The challenges are fortnightly and are designed to showcase your magical themed images such as Sweet Pea, Fairies from LOTV, Tilda's with wings to name but a few. So here is my first offering for the theme of Glitter, yes you can sparkle till your hearts content. For the first challenge we are being sponsored by the wonderful Pollycraft and the prize is a set of Lilybean Fairies.
I have chosen to use a gorgeous lil fairy from Pergamano and teamed her with some great glittered DP's from K & Co (sorry the collection escapes me as they are rather old!). I then added some girly embellies such as lace, ribbon and lots of stickles and bling.
I am entering her in the following challenges:
Passion for ProMarkers -Challenge #61 'Distressing'
Crafty Creations -Challenge #77 'Happy or Sweet
Stamp Something - Something Flowery

I hope you like her and good luck for the challenge, hope to see you there!

Z is for Zig Zag..... ABC Challenge DT Card

Good morning everyone,
Well I think finally all this sunshine has gone to my head, I almost seem incapable of using my trademark earthy brown tones at the moment which would normally be distressed to within an inch of their life. So I'll just have to show you another card in fun and funky summery tones. So this week on ABC Challenge the theme is Z is for Zig Zag ie a tri fold card etc and it is being sponsered by the wonderful Lacey. I have chosen to use the fab 'Dressy Anya' collection from The Greetings Farm along with one of my favourite paper collections 'Quite Contrary' from MME. I also used the sketch from Quirky Crafts which was great fun to work with. This week Crazy 4 Challenges wanted to see buttons on your projects so I added some Sizzix buttons to finish. Finally the theme over at Totally Gorjuss is 'Thinking of You'.

Walking in a Winter Wonderland

"Well the weather outside is frightful......" No it is definately too early for Christmas songs but I really do need to get organised this year and get my Christmas cards made before the 20th December. So I dug out the beautiful Snowflake stamp from Sugar Nellie and got to work. I used some old DP from Craft Creations and teamed it with coredinations card. The snowflakes were made with one of the new Marianne D die sets. Then I added lots of faux stitching, bling and plenty of stickles and here is my first Christmas card of the year:

A few challenge blogs are getting Christmassy so I am entering this in the following challenges:
The Shabby Tea Room - Week #18 'Christmas in July'
Cute Card Thursday - Challenge #121 'Get a Head Start'

Color Throwdown Card

Good evening,

Soo late posting this card but I have just got back from the cinema, wasn't sure what I'd think of the new Twilight film but the eye candy is amazing yum!

Anyway, back to crafting this is a very quick little card I made for a class to show off the gorgeous MME papers and the fab Hero Arts Flower stamps. Cannot believe it but there isn't a ProMarker in sight! I did however use my all time favourite Nestie to make the card - Labels 8. The photo did not come out well so I will replace it with a better one soon.

I am entering this over at Color Throwdown they wanted to see the following colours Regal Rose, Certainly Celery,Real Red and Baja Breeze (Blue)
Thanks for taking the time to swing by my blog.
Happy Crafting!
Hugs

Y is for... You & Me DT card

Morning everyone, well today is rather exciting as I am joining the
ABC Challenge DT for there next few challenges and today the challenge is 'Y is for.... You and Me'. You need to create a card or project with two images or two characters on it eg. a wedding or anniversary card etc. The sponsor for this fortnights challenge is the fab Wild Orchid Crafts

I have created this wedding card using the gorgeous 'Loving Couple' stamp from Magnolia and created a background scene using the 'Rose Arch' which I masked and then overstamped with the 'Butterfly Background' to create depth. I originally made this as a standard square card but decided it needed a little more, so I turned it into an easel card and added more paper a beautiful sentiment 'Wishing two people one wonderful life' from Magnolia and some roses which I spritzed with 'Cranberry Zing' Glimmer Mist. I also added loads of stickles to the roses some lace, organza ribbon and a little metal heart charm to finish.

Anyway I hope you liked my first DT card and I'd just like to say a huge thank you to the lovely Vicky from ABC for inviting me to join the team.

I am entering this in the following challenges:
Allsorts Challenge - #59 'Create a Scene'
Crazy 4 Challenges - #44 'Use a Minimum of 2 Ribbons'
Quirky Crafts - #31 'Ribbons'

Every Good Princess Deserves Chocolate...

Evening all,
Hope your all good. Today has been totally hectic trying to get everything ready for my craft class tomorrow but yeah it's all done. I will be teaching my classes of ladies how to make cards with pockets this week so will post the cards soon.
Anyway I managed to get some crafting done last night including using my new little sewing machine for the first time. Thanks to the lovely Rowena for her advice on which machine to go for. Unfortunately my sewing is not too straight but hey I'm a learner!
So here's my latest Tilda card hope you like her:

I will be entering this card in a few challenges. The inspiration for the colour came from the new challenge site Totally Tilda who wanted to see Chocolate shades.
The fab sketch came from Totally Gorjuss.
