A Gift From The Heart

Good evening folks,
I thought it was about time I shared another project with you and this time it is a gift box that I've made to hold my fab Big sister's Christmas pressie. I love her to bits and miss her so much as she is still down in Essex but everyone will be coming to mine for Christmas so we will get to catch up very soon, can't wait!!
Anyway enough waffling from me. I love making anything 3 dimensional so making boxes is a passion of mine and I must say I got a little carried away with this one.

I have coloured all the cute Tilda's with Distress Markers. The box lid and base were punched with my fave MS 'Cherish' punch. I then used the 'Catalina Wreath' die from Memory Box and the 'Layered Poinsettia' nestie. The DP is from Magnolia's Christmas collection from last year. I have faux stitched practically everything and then distressed with Pumice Stone DI and added loads of sparkle with Platinum Stickles. The cute Merry Christmas tags and the sentiment are also Maggie stamps. The amazing sketch came from MDUC and I have to say I loved using it.
A few extra pics to show the rest of the box:
A little shot of the box lid

The inside to show both trays

The back of the box, and lovely ice skating Tilda

I am entering this into the following fab challenges:
MDUC - #175 'Sketch'
Live and Love Crafts - #6 'Anything But a Card'
Totally Tilda - #61 'Tilda Sitting Pretty'
Midweek Magnolias - #40 'A Christmas Surprise'
Simply Magnolia - 'Tis' the Season'
Totally Gorjuss - #160 'Anything Goes... With Glitter!'
Deep Ocean - #40 'So This Is Christmas'

Well that's all from me for now, I hope you like my little project and I 'll be back soon.
Big Hugs

I'm Back!!!!!

Good Evening peeps,
Well firstly I must apologise for my absence and thank everyone for their lovely emails and well wishes. Lot's of things have been going on and many not so good so I needed to channel all of my strength to get through the last couple of months and that meant I had to put some other things on hold.
Anyway things are a little more settled and I couldn't stay away from blogland any longer. I found the inspiration I needed on some of my fave challenge blogs and here is what I came up with:

I haven't made a wine/bottle tag for ages and had great fun creating this one. I used the gorgeous new Edwin on Skis and coloured him with Distress Markers. The beautiful die is Snowflake Corner from Memory Box and the punch is MS Aspen PATP. I have faux stitched all edges and distressed with Pumice Stone DI and Glamour Dust. Lastly I aded some yummy pearl stars and a cute little star charm.
I am entering this into the following challenges:
MDUC - #174 'Create a Wine Tag'
Midweek Magnolias - #39 'Starlight Starbright'
Tilda's Town - #29 'Celebrate Christmas'
Simply Magnolia - Sketch Challenge
Totally Gorjuss - #159 'Don't Be Square'
Live and Love Crafts - #5 'Christmas'

Promise I'll be back soon to share some of the projects I have been working on.

ABC Challenge Y is for........ 'Y Chromosome'

Morning folks,
So sorry I haven't been around for a few weeks but had a lot on my plate lately which caused Mr Mojo to disappear!
Well it's time for another fabulous challenge (even if I do say so myself lol) over at ABC and it's my turn to host it. My letter is the letter 'Y' and my hubby actually came up with the theme Y is for..........Y Chromosome' so I want to see cards for men or boys. We are sponsored by the lovely peeps at The Stamp Fairy and they supplied the DT with some great images to use.
I love this little wizard and the moment I saw him I had to colour him. I chose to create a little book of spells for boys, and by creating a box card there is a little compartment for keeping secret treasures in.

Another little cute image of this adoreable wizard sat on his pile of books. I used my trusty Pro's to colour with and added some fab homemade spell cards with a grungey twist.

I am entering this into the following challenges:
I Love Promarkers - #136 'A Male Theme'
Charisma Cardz - #38 'Something for the Guys'
Totally Gorjuss - #151 'Punch and Die' (MS punch and Marianne D corner die)

Well I cant wait to see all your creations for the men in your life so
Happy Crafting

Tilda Loves Books and Farewell TT

Morning all,
Well today I want to share with you my final project for Totally Tilda. I have loved my time with the Tilderettes but all good things must come to an end as they say!
So this fortnights challenge is to create a bookmark.

I created a corner bookmark design that fits over the page using the beautiful Study Tilda. I coloured her using Distress Markers and distressed everything with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink. I also edged the circle with faux stitching. The DP's were from an old collection by Papermania (sorry the name escapes me). The beautiful heart is created from an MS punch and the butterfly is a DooHickey die.
Well I know it's short and sweet but I will be back soon to share another creation with you very soon.

I am entering this into the following challenges:
Tilda's Town - #15 'Anything Goes'
Simon Says - 'Back to School'
MAWTT - 'Anything But Square'

I have created a flowerpot card using some beautiful stamp and cut flowers from Sizzix/Hero Arts. I have coloured with my trusty Promarkers and added heaps of Star Dust Stickles (well what girl wouldn't want glittery wellies!!) The beautiful sentiment is also from Hero Arts.
Well I am off to go and find a cool relaxing paddling pool with an over excited 4 year old in it. Wish me luck I am entertaining my niece today and I really don't think there will be much relaxing done!!

A World Full of Joy! and Totally Tilda DT Call

Good afternoon peeps,
I hope everyone is enjoying the unusually hot weather and hasn't melted yet, I have to admit to coming close myself today as the shop felt a little bit like a greenhouse!
Anyway, in case some of you hadn't noticed Totally Tilda are having a DT call. However if you want to enter you need to be quick as it finishes later today. The theme is a beautiful photo inspiration challenge and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed using the fresh colour palette.

My entry is a little later than planned as for some reason the light has made it tricky to get a really good piccie but I have done my best. If you haven't already submitted an entry why not pop over and check it out even if not this time their will be more DT calls in the future. Good luck everyone!

A little cloe up

I don't know about you but I adore the Magnolia image of Tilda and Bridesmaid but I always feel the groom gets a little left out, so I decided to mask the girls and add in Edwin. I have coloured with my Distress Markers and then distressed everything with Pumice Stone DI and added sparkle with Star Dust Stickles.
The beautiful sketch came from the august challenge over at Live and Love Crafts and was a real joy to use. I am totally addicted to using these pearl clusters and also once again my Vivienne butterfly die from Memory Box makes an appearance. The DP's are Magnolia and MME and all have been faux stitched.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
Totally Tilda - DT Call 'Photo Inspiration'
Midweek Magnolias - #24 'Wedding'
Live and Love Crafts - #2 'Elizabeth's fab Sketch'

Well that's enough from me today but I'll be back tomorrow to share another creation.
Happy Crafting!

Hi folks,
Can you believe that this is my second post of the day, well this time I want to share with you my final GDT card for SOUS
I have loved working with this talented group of ladies and this fortnight the super talented Leah has designed a fab sketch.

I have used the gorgeous 'Ella Blue' DP's from GCD and a cute Tilda I haven't inked up for ages.

I just want to say a huge thank you to all the girls at Stuck On You Sketches for having me, it's been great working with you.

ABC Challenge 'V is for.......Vanish'

Morning peeps!
Just popping in to share with you the fabby new challenge over at ABC and this time we are up to the letter 'V'. We want to see your projects using the theme vanish. We are sponsered by the fabulous Bugaboo Digi Stamps and I have chosen to use School Ava for my card as my niece is starting school this September.
I hadn't made a pop up easel card for a while but though it was quite apt as the sentiment 'vanishes' when the easel is pushed down.

Here is a piccie of the open card
I coloured with my trusty Pro's and layered up the image for a bit of depth. Quite a clean look for me but this is on the grounds that my beautiful 4 year old niece would not appreciate a 'dirty' card from auntie Clare so no distressing allowed.
Well hope to see your fabby entries

Tilda Box for Mum

Evening folks,
I hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine, it has been sooo hot here today, in fact I don't like to complain but how come we go from flooding one day to baking hot drought conditions the following day?.
Anyway, I wanted to share with you my latest project that I made for my wonderful mum's birthday. I really wanted to make her something a little special as she does so much for me, helping out in the shop every week and then getting up ridiculously early at the weekends to  help me at the shows.
Well I chose to make her an easel card with a difference and created a 12 drawer box for it to sit on. I thought it might look nice on her craft table with some embellies in.

I used the fabulous sketch from MDUC and used one of my new favourite Tilda's. I coloured Tilda with my distress markers and used some gorgeous DP's from Prima. The butterfly and flourish dies are from Memory Box and the sentiments are LOTV and Hero Arts. Everthing has been distressed with Frayed Burlap DI and faux stitched and then edged in stickles.

A little close up of Tilda

I am entering this into the following challenges:
MDUC - #158 'Sketch'
Midweek Magnolias - #23 'Use 2 Dies or Punches'

Guest Designer for Stuck on You Sketches

Hello again,
Can you believe this is my second post of the day. Well a few weeks ago I received an email from the lovely Leah from Stuck On U Sketches and I was delighted to be asked to join them for the month of August as their Guest Designer. Well obviously I jumped at the chance to play along with such a talented group of girlies. So here is my 1st project for them, I hope you like it!
I used the super cute Summer Flower Fairy Tilda and coloured with my Distress Markers. The beautiful DP's are from the Boho Chic Paper Pad by First Edition. I went for a real pretty feminine look for this card using lots of lace, pearls and sparkle. Most of the edges are faux stitched, distressed with Pumice Stone DI and finished with Stardust Stickles. The wonderful sentiment is of course LOTV. I have absolutely loved using this sketch so why not pop over to SOUS and give it a go for yourself.

U is for..........Under The Weather ABC Challenge

Good morning folks,
This is just a quick post as I am still enjoying birthday celebrations but there was no way I could miss the next fab challenge over at ABC. Theme theme was chosen by our fabulous leader Julie and she chose 'Under The Weather'
I have used a scrummy Tilda who is sheltering under her brolly from the rain. The sentiment reads "Sorry You're Feeling Under The Weather" and I printed it then stamped the cute Magnolia cloud over the top.

I haven't made a napkin fold card for ages so thought I'd give it another try. I have coloured Tilda using my trusty Promarkers and finished with my Prisma's. I have distressed the edges with Tumbled Glass DI and added loads of Star Dust Stickles for sparkle.
I hope you like it and I look forward to seeing your gorgeous entries over at ABC.

I am entering this into the following challenges:

Let's Go Fly a Kite.......

Morning folks,
I hope you have all been enjoying the sunshine as most of us here in the UK have, although I think we deserved some after all the torrential rain we have endured for sooo long.
Anyway, can u believe it's already time for another challenge over at Totally Tilda . The theme this time is 'Summer Fun Tilda' so loads of scope there, just remember you do need to include a Tilda on your project. Also we have a fab prize up for grabs as we are sponsered by the wonderful Crafty Ribbons.
I used one of my favourite Tilda's for this and had fun with the kite design which I got a little carried away with (the kite is properly strung and knotted with bakers twine!), however I think flight may be impeded by the weight of the flowers.
I chose to stamp Tilda onto kraft and coloured with my Prisma Pencils for a softer look than markers. The fab and fun DP's are from the Hopscotch collection by Basic Grey. The sentiment is LOTV and the Summer Fun letters are from the Vintage Market Sizzix die by Tim Holtz.
All papers have been faux stitched and distressed with Frayed Burlap DI.

Okay well I think that's everything but don't forget to check out the challenge and play along.

I am entering this into the following challenges:
Just Magnolia - #167 'In The Country'
Tilda's Town - #11 'Name Your Technique' (Colouring on Kraft and Faux Stitching)

Bye for now
Happy crafting!

Summer Fun! Tilda's Secret Box

Morning folks,
It's time once again for a fab challenge over at Totally Tilda but before that I want to just say how grateful we are for all the wonderful creations you share with us every fortnight and the last challenge was no exception.
Anyway this time we want to see a Tilda creation with a Magnolia Sentiment. There are plenty to choose from so it shouldn't be too tricky so enjoy!! We are sponsored once more by the fabulous Bunny Zoe's Crafts and Nicki has kindly donated a £10 voucher for her store so another great reason to give the challenge a go.
I have created a secret box and used one of my favourite sentiments 'A Gift From The Heart'. I was inspired to create this box when I saw a beautiful example on the very talented Norma's blog. Go check out her amazing work and she also has a great tutorial on there.

A view of the box open and that wonderful sentiment

Now a view of the outside of the box when open

I created the handmade flower on the top panel using some Nestie flower dies and then spritzed each layer with Glimmer Mist before scrunching it up. All of the lovely Tilda's are coloured with Promarkers and the beautiful DP's are all from Basic Grey.
I hope you liked this project and I look forward to seeing your Sentiment creations.

I am entering this into the following challenges:
Just Magnolia - #165 'Bingo' (I used Ribbon, Flowers and Pink as my options)

Well it's time for another fabulous challenge over at Totally Tilda and this time the theme is Sea/Seaside, so many gorgeous Tilda's to choose from so why not give it a go. This time we are sponsored by the terrific Sir Stampalot and they have kindly donated 2 fab Magnolia stamps for the winner.
I wanted to decorate another of these scrummy kraft notebooks  but I got a little carried away (maybe not these most practical decoration!!)
Anyway, I coloured with my Promarkers and Prisma's and just thoroughly enjoyed myself with this project. I then stamped a little anchor on the inside front page to continue the nautical theme inside.

We are sponsored by the wonderful Stamp Fairy and they kindly supplied the DT with some great digis to use.
I hadn't made a blokey project for ages so thought I 'd make a wallet card. As I said the image is Stamp Fairy and the sentiment is from Magnolia.
I have coloured with my Promarkers and added a little more shading with my Prisma's.

Magnolia Bunting

Good morning all,
I have had to schedule this post as I am up to my neck in yummy crafty goodies as I am exhibiting at the Suffolk Papercraft Show in Bury St Edmonds.
Anyway time for another fab challenge over at Totally Tilda and this time the theme is 'Bunting' so we want to see lots of flags on your projects. We are sponsored this time by lovely Nikki at unny Zoe Crafts, so well worth a go.

Sorry this post is a bit photo heavy but grab a cup of coffee and I hope you enjoy having a browse. It's not easy to see in the pics but all flags have been stitched and edged with diamond stickles. I used a Martha Stewart punch to create the edge of each of the rosettes and distressed each with Pumice Stone DI. All of the yummy Magnolia images are coloured with my Promarkers and some also have a little stickles on them.
All of the beautiful DP's are from the First Edition Collections 'Boho Chic' and 'New Leaf''. I have just got this scrummy lace in the shop and I feel it may be used quite a lot!!

R is for.........Romance ABC Challenge

Morning folks,
It's time once again for another fabulous challenge over at ABC and we are up to the letter 'R' so the lovely Lin has chosen the theme 'R is for Romance'. So we want to see your take on a romantic theme whatever that may be. We are kindly sponsored this time by the lovely Lacey at Stamp and Create so well worth an entry.
My card is based on a Christmas card I made a couple of years ago as I was asked to create an anniversary card in black and ivory to match the wedding theme.

This doesn't really reflect my current style as it is a little precise but I think the recipient will like it (fingers crossed!) The gorgeous DP's are from the Paris Nights collection from GCD. The beautiful frame die is Marianne D. I coloured with my trusty Promarkers and added a little gold stickles to the brides roses.
Anyway, hope you like it. I am now off to pack the shop up as I am exhibiting at a papercraft show in Bury St Edmonds on Sunday so if any of you are venturing to the show come and say hi!
