F is for...........Frosty

Good afternoon hmph!!Apologies my post was scheduled to appear this morning but Blogger seemed to have other ideas. Also just spent the last 2 hours trying to correct my lovely background that had shrunken to a ridiculous size (deep sigh!)
Ok so I have climbed off my soap box and my rant is over, back to normality (well sort of).
I am sharing with you today a frosty creation for the F is for Frosty challenge over at ABC. This time we are sponsored by the fabulous Lily of the Valley who has kindly donated a £10 voucher for the lucky winner.

Again not an easy card to photograph but I have done my best. This first shot shows the front of my card which when opened reveals a complete circle of frostiness!

A birdseye viewof the open card. The glitter and bling does not show so well but you get the idea. A great way to showcase lots of scrummy Tilda's.

As always I coloured using my trusty Promarkers and then layered these cuties onto snowflake embossed panels.

Hope you enjoyed my creation and I look forward to seeing your entries into the ABC challenge.

E is for.........Embossing!

Morning all,
I hope everyone of you is well and not suffering with the many bugs that seem to be going round.
Well it's time for yet another fab challenge over at ABC and this time we want to see your wonderful projects using Embossing. We are sponsered this time by the fabulous Ribbon Girl so grab your embossing folders or embossing powder and get creating.

I have just received these beautiful clear baubles into the shop and I couldn't wait to get them filled. For the first I used this oh so cute deer stamp from Stampavie. Coloured with Promarkers and mounted onto a panel that was embossed with a Cuttlebug snowflake folder.

For my second bauble I chose to use the beautiful angel from Magnolia, coloured simply with Promarkers and then filled with pretty little irridescent heart confetti.
Apologies for the photos but these are really difficult to get a good photograph of.

Cute Lil Notebook

Evening all,
Wow what a day it has been. Visited hubby this afternoon and it was awful he was in so much pain. I hate watching him go through all this and all because he slipped over in an icy car park back in December. I am so not looking forward to a white Christmas this year, in fact the first hint of a snowflake and I am hibernating!
Anyway back to crafting business, I did find time to finish this cute little kraft notebook that I stamped months ago. I planned to make a load of these for little Christmas gifts but I'm not sure that's going to happen but fingers crossed.

I chose to use one of my very favourite Gorjuss images for this first notebook and coloured her with my Prisma's, added a simple velvet ribbon and a cute little pearl.

I am entering this into the following challenges:
Cute Card Thursday - #182 'Anything Goes'
Stamp Something - Final Challenge 'Anything Goes'

A Scene Under Acetate

Good evening peeps,
Just a quick post tonight as I am a little sleepy as hubby finally went into hospital for his op so busy running about like a mad thing.
Anyway, I wanted to share with you this very clean card design using yet another gorgeous design from Chocolate Baroque. The Lighthouse scene is stamped with Black Soot DI then given the watercolour look with a damp paintbrush (the red door was added with a promarker). The beautiful sentiment was then stamped onto acetate and attached at the back of the white card to create a dome. I then added a little bunting and it was finished.

I think this pic shows the acetate dome a little better
I am entering this card into the following challenges:
The Stamp Man - #31 'Monochrome and 1 Other Colour'
Simon Says Stamp - 'Sing It' (Song or Film Title Inspired) I chose 'We are Sailing' by Rod Stewart

A Little Touch of Pink

Hello! I thought it was about time I shared with you some new projects. I think if I remember rightly the inspiration for this came from a project by the very talented Kath in her cubbyhole. I love this stamp from Hero Arts and have used it so much.

Quite clean and simple from me but it's fun to experiment although still not 100% sure if this ticks all the boxes for me.

Great news! We have decided to extend the ABC blog hop.

We are keeping our birthday blog hop open for one more week!
If you have not entered our birthday blog hop yet, you now have plenty of time to get creative.
Our hop will now close on 25th July at 18.00 GMT, all winners will be chosen at random after this date and published on the ABC challenge blog by 29th July.

Please check out my last post for the Hop Order and don't forget to create something fab for the challenge as well.

p.s Sorry I have been awol for the last couple of weeks getting a little stressed waiting for hubby to go back into hospital. Unfortunately his ankle that he broke badly in December has not healed so has to be re broken and may have to be permanently fused in place. This may explain my loss of mojo, as well as being very busy at the shop. However, I have a few creations to share with you so as soon as they are photographed I will be posting them.

A Touch of Monochrome

Good morning to all in the land of blog,
I hope everyone had a great weekend, I had a fab afternoon yesterday doing some extreme gardening at my parents house which has left me covered in nettle stings but it felt great to be out in the sunshine!
I really just wanted to share this quick card with you today. I created this for a workshop on how to use nestabilities in a different way. I think everyone gets stuck in a rut and sometimes forgets to explore the possibilities of products. This is such a simple technique here, I just used the nestie to create a debossed frame instead of using it to die cut a shape.

The gorgeous main stamped image is 'Pop Stems' from Hero Arts which I simply stamped with black memento and then dotted some of the image and the flower centres with lots of silver stickles. The scroll stamp is from Penny Black and is actually a Christmas stamp with snowflakes but I have strategically placed the flowers to cover these. The greeting stamp is by Papermania as are the punches used to create the flowers. I then added ribbon and pearls from my stash.
I am entering this into the following challenges:
Allsorts - #104 'Birthdays' (Big Happy Birthday to You!!)
Truly Scrumptious - #57 'Anything Goes'
Simply Create - #44 'Special Day/Event'
Simon Says - 'Sparkle and Shine'
Anyway, hope you like it and that you have a great day.
Hugs

The sketch I used is pretty old and I apologise but I can't remember where it came from but it was great to use. The papers are yet again 'Ella Blue' from GCD, teamed with French Roast Coredinations. I used Promarkers to colour and everything was distressed with Frayed Burlap DI.
I am entering this into the following challenges:
