French Country Decorated Frame

Hi peeps,
I hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas and would like to wish you all a very happy New Year.
Finally I can share with you a few of the projects that have taken up my time lately. Every year me and my besties make Christmas gifts for each other and this year I decided to make photo frames. For the first frame I used some gorgeous papers from the beautiful Graphic 45 collection 'French Country'.
I started by painting the frame then adding shabby white frantage to distress it. Then using the yummy DP's I created a picture which I decoupaged and faux stitched. I then created the flowers using some pre-made mulberry paper flowers and added some die cut flowers and leaves of my own using matching papers.
Well I hope you like it, I'll be back soon with my next project.

Steampunk Edwin and Farewell to Basic Grey Challenges

Morning peeps,
Well I hope you are all getting ready for the big day and not getting to stressed. Wow it has been all go here, busy, busy!!
Anyway the last fortnight has just flown by and already it's time for another challenge over at Basic Grey Challenges however sadly this is our last challenge as Basic Grey Challenges is closing. I would like to thank the wonderful Jo for running such a fabulous challenge and also the rest of my talented teamies for being such a fab bunch. Well we have kept our last challenge nice and simple so hopefully we can go out with a bang so it's time for an 'Anything Goes' theme so get crafting and enjoy!!
I chose to use this adoreable Edwin and paper pieced him with some very smart grey tartan.
The gorgeous distressed blue dotty DP is from the Marjolaine collection from Basic Grey. The cogs paper is from Craft Creations, the stamped sentiment is from Creative Expressions and the dies are from Spellbinders and Marianne D.
Hope you like it and I 'll be back soon.

Basic Grey Challenge 'Happy Christmas'

Good morning peeps,
Well it's time for another fab challenge over at Basic Grey Challenges - and it is another super easy theme. This time we want to see your Christmas designs, but remember to include a product from Basic Grey.
As many of you know I find CAS cards really difficult but I thought I'd give it another go:

I love this cutie Tilda she looks really warm and cosy all wrapped up. The gorgeous pre distressed green DP is from the Oliver collection from BG and I love it as it perfectly matches my fave Promarker 'Pear Green'.
The lovely sentiment is from Stampendous. Still not sure about the CAS design but I'm sure I'll give it another go soon.

Big Hugs
