Good morning everyone. Hope it's not tooo wet and miserable where you are, it's pretty grey and soggy here today. Anyway thought I'd cheer myself up by finally finishing this Sarah Kay card. I coloured this image ages ago and put her in a box and forgot all about her. Then I had the idea to make a 'shabby chic' style card using some gorgeous MME Papers that I rediscovered in my craft box. So the card was born! I used scraps of already part used papers to make a little line of bunting which I was really pleased with and will be using again. I then folded back the corner of the paper and fixed with a Papermaina DIY brad and filled the corner with a large chocolate rose from Magnolia and some other smaller roses from my stash.
I am entering this over at The Shabby Tearoom as they are running a challenge to use scraps.

Close up to show colouring and distressing. Sorry I can't do a colour recipe for this one but I coloured it sooo long ago I've forgotten which browns I used.

Edwin in Black and White
Good morning.
I hope everyone had a great weekend. Yesterday was pretty close to a perfect day for me. I spent all morning having retail therapy and all afternoon crafting. It doesn't get much better than that now does it?
Anyway this week over at Just Magnolia they had a great sketch challenge so I got busy and this is what I came up with. Charming Edwin in black and white. I used the new Papermania Capsule Collection Papers, Ribbon and Petals from the Monochrome set which all coordinate beautifully. I mounted Edwin onto frames cut using the Nellie's Multi Frame dies which add nice detail.
I thought I would also enter this over at Quixotic Paperie as there theme this week is Monochrome. As usual Edwin is coloured with Promarkers.
Challenges I am entering:
http://justmagnolia.blogspot.com/ - Week 48 'A Sketch by Jane'
http://quixoticpaperie.blogspot.com/ - Challenge 18 'Monochromatic'

Altered Anya Challenge
Phew!! This was all a bit last minute. Just managed to get this card finished in time to enter it into the Quixotic Challenge. Am full of cold so not working as quickly as normal but still really enjoyed creating this one. The challenge was to alter a Greetings Farm character - Anya or friends. I chose to use 80's Anya but I masked her face off before stamping and then used a light box to draw in the features from Dahlia. Thought she need funky colours so I used the Papermania Spring Burst pack of DP's.
I am entering this card into the following challenge:

Season of Friendship
Wow what a weekend, it almost felt like we may get a Summer after all. I managed to spend most of Sunday in the conservatory crafting.
Well I thought I'd try my hand at the Challenge over on Passion for Promarkers. This week it was a great sketch and your choice of Promarker colours. I hadn't got round to actually using my Autumn collection from Whiff of Joy so I thought it about time.
Sorry the sun was a bit bright so the photo isn't the best but here it is:

Tilda with Rose
Hi, hope everyone is having a great weekend. I wanted to stay in a fresh Springy mood despite the rain outside, so I went back to my MME 'Quite Contrary' papers and created this card. I used the same freebie sentiment stamp I used on my last post as I have found it very useful.
Once again coloured with Promarkers and finished with Prima flowers and gems. Hope you all enjoy the rest of the weekend and get lots of crafting done!!
A little close up to show the seriousy sparkly rose (created with Stardust Stickles)

Tilda on Watering Can
Wow can't believe I am managing to post again so soon. Another Magnolia image but I was totally inspired by the MME Quite Contrary papers. The whole range is beatifully fresh and springlike. Once again went a bit mad with the Prima flowers but as this was a birthday card for my friend I knew they would be appreciated.
I love the new Hero Arts sentiment stamp that I used as the easel support. Sorry its not very easy to read in the pics but it says:
"Wishing you love and laughter good health and happiness on your birthday and always"
Not too mushy I thought.
The "Just for you" stamp was a freebie afew months ago on the front of the Docrafts Creativity mag.

Just Sittin'
Good morning everyone!
Hope you all had a fun weekend. I have to confess to a little retail therapy on Sunday morning then the rest of the day was shared with my adorable Dexter and my crafting stash spread out across the entire lounge. What a great day!
Not really sure where this design came from I think it just evolved when I opened my BG Ambrosia papers. I absolutely love the Magnolia sentiment stamp and already have many more plans for it. Anyway I had better get back to work as I have lots more images of Tilda and Edwin to hang up around the shop.
Enjoy the rest of your day and happy crafting!

Special Birthday Kitchen Tilda
Hi, brrrr!!! how cold is it today. Well thought I'd better post again as it has been afew days.
On a completely non crafty note did anyone else notice just how bright the moon was the other night because clearly my spaniel Dexter did as at 1.30am Peter and I were woken by an amazing display of howling. Dexter was firmly planted in the middle of our bed and was quite intent on baying at the moon!!!
He looked so comicle that even after Peter had dozed back to sleep muttering something about a daft dog I still had a fit of the giggles and found myself to be firmly awake watching my little Were Spaniel as he snored in ignorant bliss!!
Don't really seem to have caught up on the missed sleep yet but nevermind, I have been awake enough to craft so all is not lost.
Here is another Tilda offering. I wanted to keep this one a little simpler so managed to drag myself away from my flower stash. Think it works but if the mood takes me it may still get the flower treatment.
