Morning all,
Well today I want to share with you my final project for Totally Tilda. I have loved my time with the Tilderettes but all good things must come to an end as they say!
So this fortnights challenge is to create a bookmark.
I created a corner bookmark design that fits over the page using the beautiful Study Tilda. I coloured her using Distress Markers and distressed everything with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink. I also edged the circle with faux stitching. The DP's were from an old collection by Papermania (sorry the name escapes me). The beautiful heart is created from an MS punch and the butterfly is a DooHickey die.
Well I know it's short and sweet but I will be back soon to share another creation with you very soon.
I am entering this into the following challenges:
Tilda's Town - #15 'Anything Goes'
Simon Says - 'Back to School'
MAWTT - 'Anything But Square'
Just Magnolia - #171 'Show me a Heart'
MDUC - #161 'All Stitched Up'
Big Hugs

Pots of Fun!
Morning folks,
Just popping in to remind you that you have just under a week to get your entries in for the current Kraft challenge over at Totally Tilda.
For a bit of midweek inspiration many of the DT have created some more fabulous krafty designs so why not go and check them out.
I have created a flowerpot card using some beautiful stamp and cut flowers from Sizzix/Hero Arts. I have coloured with my trusty Promarkers and added heaps of Star Dust Stickles (well what girl wouldn't want glittery wellies!!) The beautiful sentiment is also from Hero Arts.
Well I am off to go and find a cool relaxing paddling pool with an over excited 4 year old in it. Wish me luck I am entertaining my niece today and I really don't think there will be much relaxing done!!
I am entering this into the following challenges:
Passion for Promarkers - #162 'Shaped Cards'
I Love Promarkers - #130 'Gardens'
The Crafty Pad - #184 'To Die For'
Happy Crafting!
Hugs

A World Full of Joy! and Totally Tilda DT Call
Good afternoon peeps,
I hope everyone is enjoying the unusually hot weather and hasn't melted yet, I have to admit to coming close myself today as the shop felt a little bit like a greenhouse!
Anyway, in case some of you hadn't noticed Totally Tilda are having a DT call. However if you want to enter you need to be quick as it finishes later today. The theme is a beautiful photo inspiration challenge and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed using the fresh colour palette.
My entry is a little later than planned as for some reason the light has made it tricky to get a really good piccie but I have done my best. If you haven't already submitted an entry why not pop over and check it out even if not this time their will be more DT calls in the future. Good luck everyone!
I don't know about you but I adore the Magnolia image of Tilda and Bridesmaid but I always feel the groom gets a little left out, so I decided to mask the girls and add in Edwin. I have coloured with my Distress Markers and then distressed everything with Pumice Stone DI and added sparkle with Star Dust Stickles.
The beautiful sketch came from the august challenge over at Live and Love Crafts and was a real joy to use. I am totally addicted to using these pearl clusters and also once again my Vivienne butterfly die from Memory Box makes an appearance. The DP's are Magnolia and MME and all have been faux stitched.
I am entering this card into the following challenges:
Totally Tilda - DT Call 'Photo Inspiration'
Midweek Magnolias - #24 'Wedding'
Live and Love Crafts - #2 'Elizabeth's fab Sketch'
Well that's enough from me today but I'll be back tomorrow to share another creation.
Happy Crafting!
Big Hugs

ABC Challenge 'V is for.......Vanish'
Morning peeps!
Just popping in to share with you the fabby new challenge over at ABC and this time we are up to the letter 'V'. We want to see your projects using the theme vanish. We are sponsered by the fabulous Bugaboo Digi Stamps and I have chosen to use School Ava for my card as my niece is starting school this September.
I hadn't made a pop up easel card for a while but though it was quite apt as the sentiment 'vanishes' when the easel is pushed down.

Here is a piccie of the open card
I coloured with my trusty Pro's and layered up the image for a bit of depth. Quite a clean look for me but this is on the grounds that my beautiful 4 year old niece would not appreciate a 'dirty' card from auntie Clare so no distressing allowed.
Well hope to see your fabby entries

Hi folks,
Well I hope to see your amazing krafty creations this fortnight as the talent shared for the last challenge was fantastic and we love to visit your blogs and see your wonderful work.
Sorry this post is a little later than expected, I think Blogger is misbehaving once more. Firstly I would love to say a huge thank you to MDUC for selecting my box easel card to win there sketch challenge, I am thrilled to bits and also thanks to everyone for their lovely comments, love you all mwaah!
Well it is time once again for another fabulous challenge over at Totally Tilda and this time we want to see your creations using Kraft card. As always please remember that you must include a Tilda on your project but other than that any use of Kraft card is permitted. We are sponsored once again by the lovely Nicki from Bunny Zoe Crafts so a fab prize is up for grabs.
I have created a gatefold notebook with my bind-it-all which I covered with K and Co DP's (sorry don't know the name of these ones) then added loads of flowers along with various krafty elements. I have coloured the beautiful Japanese Tilda with my Promarkers and added plenty of Stardust Stickles.

Tilda Box for Mum
Evening folks,
I hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine, it has been sooo hot here today, in fact I don't like to complain but how come we go from flooding one day to baking hot drought conditions the following day?.
Anyway, I wanted to share with you my latest project that I made for my wonderful mum's birthday. I really wanted to make her something a little special as she does so much for me, helping out in the shop every week and then getting up ridiculously early at the weekends to help me at the shows.
Well I chose to make her an easel card with a difference and created a 12 drawer box for it to sit on. I thought it might look nice on her craft table with some embellies in.
I used the fabulous sketch from MDUC and used one of my new favourite Tilda's. I coloured Tilda with my distress markers and used some gorgeous DP's from Prima. The butterfly and flourish dies are from Memory Box and the sentiments are LOTV and Hero Arts. Everthing has been distressed with Frayed Burlap DI and faux stitched and then edged in stickles.
A little close up of Tilda
I am entering this into the following challenges:
MDUC - #158 'Sketch'
Midweek Magnolias - #23 'Use 2 Dies or Punches'
Tilda's Town - #13 'Shabby Chic'
Just Magnolia - #167 'Pearls and Swirls'
Simon Says - 'Let's Play Bingo' (Die Cut, Free and Glitter)
Well hope you like it
Happy Crafting!

Guest Designer for Stuck on You Sketches
Hello again,
Can you believe this is my second post of the day. Well a few weeks ago I received an email from the lovely Leah from Stuck On U Sketches and I was delighted to be asked to join them for the month of August as their Guest Designer. Well obviously I jumped at the chance to play along with such a talented group of girlies. So here is my 1st project for them, I hope you like it!
I used the super cute Summer Flower Fairy Tilda and coloured with my Distress Markers. The beautiful DP's are from the Boho Chic Paper Pad by First Edition. I went for a real pretty feminine look for this card using lots of lace, pearls and sparkle. Most of the edges are faux stitched, distressed with Pumice Stone DI and finished with Stardust Stickles. The wonderful sentiment is of course LOTV. I have absolutely loved using this sketch so why not pop over to SOUS and give it a go for yourself.
I am entering this into the following challenges:
Totally Gorjuss - #142 'Pearls'
Happy Crafting

U is for..........Under The Weather ABC Challenge
Good morning folks,
This is just a quick post as I am still enjoying birthday celebrations but there was no way I could miss the next fab challenge over at ABC. Theme theme was chosen by our fabulous leader Julie and she chose 'Under The Weather'
I have used a scrummy Tilda who is sheltering under her brolly from the rain. The sentiment reads "Sorry You're Feeling Under The Weather" and I printed it then stamped the cute Magnolia cloud over the top.
I haven't made a napkin fold card for ages so thought I'd give it another try. I have coloured Tilda using my trusty Promarkers and finished with my Prisma's. I have distressed the edges with Tumbled Glass DI and added loads of Star Dust Stickles for sparkle.
I hope you like it and I look forward to seeing your gorgeous entries over at ABC.
