Let's Go Fly a Kite.......

Morning folks,
I hope you have all been enjoying the sunshine as most of us here in the UK have, although I think we deserved some after all the torrential rain we have endured for sooo long.
Anyway, can u believe it's already time for another challenge over at Totally Tilda . The theme this time is 'Summer Fun Tilda' so loads of scope there, just remember you do need to include a Tilda on your project. Also we have a fab prize up for grabs as we are sponsered by the wonderful Crafty Ribbons.
I used one of my favourite Tilda's for this and had fun with the kite design which I got a little carried away with (the kite is properly strung and knotted with bakers twine!), however I think flight may be impeded by the weight of the flowers.
I chose to stamp Tilda onto kraft and coloured with my Prisma Pencils for a softer look than markers. The fab and fun DP's are from the Hopscotch collection by Basic Grey. The sentiment is LOTV and the Summer Fun letters are from the Vintage Market Sizzix die by Tim Holtz.
All papers have been faux stitched and distressed with Frayed Burlap DI.

Okay well I think that's everything but don't forget to check out the challenge and play along.

I am entering this into the following challenges:
Just Magnolia - #167 'In The Country'
Tilda's Town - #11 'Name Your Technique' (Colouring on Kraft and Faux Stitching)

Bye for now
Happy crafting!

ABC 'T is for.............Two by Two'

Blimey can't believe I'm back with my second post today, but I am very excited to announce another fantastic challenge over at ABC. We have reached the letter T and my lovely teamie Jenn has chosen the theme 'Two by Two'. So we want to see your projects using two's of anything. We have two fabulous sponsors this time The Little Ribbon Shop and Paper Shelter. I have used the fabulous 'Warm In The Winter' image from Paper Shelter, printed onto kraft card and coloured with my Prisma's. I used 2 snowflake charms, added my pearls in 2's and also used 2 strips of ribbon to frame my image.

I have distressed all edges with Walnut Stone DI and added Diamond Stickles for plenty of sparkle.
I am entering this into the following challenges:
Totally Gorjuss - #140 'It's Christmas'
Stampavie and More - #172 'Christmas in Summer'
Divas by Design - #43 'Christmas in July'
Card Crafters Circle - #31 'Christmas in July'

Summer Fun! Tilda's Secret Box

Morning folks,
It's time once again for a fab challenge over at Totally Tilda but before that I want to just say how grateful we are for all the wonderful creations you share with us every fortnight and the last challenge was no exception.
Anyway this time we want to see a Tilda creation with a Magnolia Sentiment. There are plenty to choose from so it shouldn't be too tricky so enjoy!! We are sponsored once more by the fabulous Bunny Zoe's Crafts and Nicki has kindly donated a £10 voucher for her store so another great reason to give the challenge a go.
I have created a secret box and used one of my favourite sentiments 'A Gift From The Heart'. I was inspired to create this box when I saw a beautiful example on the very talented Norma's blog. Go check out her amazing work and she also has a great tutorial on there.

A view of the box open and that wonderful sentiment

Now a view of the outside of the box when open

I created the handmade flower on the top panel using some Nestie flower dies and then spritzed each layer with Glimmer Mist before scrunching it up. All of the lovely Tilda's are coloured with Promarkers and the beautiful DP's are all from Basic Grey.
I hope you liked this project and I look forward to seeing your Sentiment creations.

I am entering this into the following challenges:
Just Magnolia - #165 'Bingo' (I used Ribbon, Flowers and Pink as my options)
The Stamp Man - 'Anything Goes/Summer Colours'
Magnolia Stamp Lovers - 'Tilda Only' (I took this theme a bit far and used 4 Tildas'!!)
Basic Grey - #72 'Fun in the Sun'
Crafty Creations - #178 'Free For All'
Sir Stampalot - 'July - What's Your Crafty Passion' (I just love making 3 dimensional items such as boxes and Magnolias are my favourite stamps)

Tilda's all at Sea!!

Morning folks,
Well I figured that this seemed like quite an appropriate theme after such a wet week. Waves in the road and water in the workshop. Blimey I am so pleased to see the back of June, fingers crossed for July! I hope that everyone else is recovering well after the amazing storms.
Well it's time for another fabulous challenge over at Totally Tilda and this time the theme is Sea/Seaside, so many gorgeous Tilda's to choose from so why not give it a go. This time we are sponsored by the terrific Sir Stampalot and they have kindly donated 2 fab Magnolia stamps for the winner.
I wanted to decorate another of these scrummy kraft notebooks  but I got a little carried away (maybe not these most practical decoration!!)
Anyway, I coloured with my Promarkers and Prisma's and just thoroughly enjoyed myself with this project. I then stamped a little anchor on the inside front page to continue the nautical theme inside.

I am entering this into the following challenegs:

Just Magnolia - #163 'It's a Banner'
Cute Card Thursday - #223 'Patriotic'
Crafty Creations Challenges - #176 'Embellish It!'
Simply Create Too - #16 'Country Where You Live'
Simon Says - 'Sporty and or Patriotic'
Party Time Tuesdays - #74 'Anything Goes'
2 Sisters - #98 'Red, White and Blue'
