Something Old, Something New......and some Very Exciting News!!!

Good morning folks,
Well do I have some exciting news to share with you today. This week I received an invitation from the fabulous Suzie Sugar to join her amazing team over at Totally Tilda and once I'd calmed my lil ol self down you can guess what I said "A BIG FAT YES!!"
So I would like to say a massive thank you to Suzie for having the faith in me to join such a talented bunch of girlies.
So I have my TTC debut creation to share with you today. This fortnight we want to see you create a project incorporating Tilda holding a flower or bunch of flowers. We are sponsored this week by the lovely Nicki from Bunny Zoe Crafts.
I chose to use the beautiful bride Tilda and her lovely groom Edwin and created this wedding favour with matching gift box.

I got these clear baubles into the shop last year and I just love using them, they come in two halves with a disc that fits inside, so they make a fabulous container for very 3 dimensional creations.

The reverse side of the bauble I chose to use my all time fave Magnolia sentiment stamp added some MS butterflies and some srummy confetti.

Little close up of the lovely couple:

Everything has been distressed with Pumice Stone DI and I added some bling with clear stardust glitter pen.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
MDUC - #139 'Bingo' (I used Dies/Punches, Flowers, Glitter/Bling)
Cupcake Crafts - #184 'Going Round in Circles'
Simon Says - 'Let's Play Bingo' (I used Charms on the gift box hearts and rings, Punches and Die Cuts and Ribon)
Cute Card Thursday - 'Anything Goes'
Papertake Weekly - 'Bingo' (I used Die Cuts, Free and Glitter)

Well Happy Crafting and a massive thank you to all my lovely followers for all your continued support watch this space for some fab celebratory candy very soon.

Big Hugs

For a Special Mum

Hi folks,
Just wanted to share with you the Tilda card I made for my wonderful mum for Mother's Day. I have really fallen in love with the gorgeous DP's in the new Picadilly collection from Basic Grey even if they do include yellow!.

I coloured this lovely Tilda with Aqua Markers and used 300gsm Fabrico Artistico Water Colour Paper. Everything has been distressed with Pumice Stone DI and given a bit of sparkle with Diamond Stickles.
I am entering this into the following challenges:
Simply Magnolia - 'Anything Goes'
Friday Sketch Challenge - #13 'Sketch by Bron'
MDUC - #138 'Old Treasures' (The doily came from my nan's kitchen drawer and the charm was taken from a department store gift box)
I Love Promarkers - #108 'Anything Goes'
Passion for Promarkers - #140 'Yellow and Pearls'
Papertake Weekly - 'For The Girls or Mum'

Well that's all from me today
Happy Crafting!

ABC Challenge K is for..........Kraft!

Good morning all,
Apologies for my absence but I have just not been feeling great for the last couple of weeks but I am slowly getting back to the land of the living, me thinks anyway?
Ok so it's time once again for another fab challenge over at ABC and this time the theme was chosen by my lovely teamie Patty Sue and she has chosen Kraft. So get your thinking caps on and create a project using kraft somewhere on your creation.
I love colouring on Kraft with my prismacolors so I was in my element however, this is my first time colouring a Tilda in this way so I hope you like her.
The colour combo is courtesy of the Magnolia Down Under challenge which is to use Pink, Orange and White. I have to say I found it quite a challenge but was really pleased when I found an old paper pad of mine called Claire by SEI, just yummy designs. The sentiment comes from LOTV and the punches and dies come from MS and Marianne D.

I am entering this into the following challenges:
MDUC - #135 Colour Combo 'Pink, Orange and White'
Sketch Saturday - #196 Sketch
Paper Sundaes - #109 'Circles'
Totally Tilda - #41 'Tilda with Die Cuts and Punches'

Happy Crafting
See you soon
