I Like You a Latte!! ABC Challenge Card R is for.........Roses

Wow morning all!
Can you believe that tomorrow is the last day of March! is it just me or is this year just disappearing before our eyes. Anyway, once again it is time for team A from the lovely ABC DT to share their inspiration with you for another fab challenge. This week we have reached the letter 'R' and would love to see your creations using 'Roses'. Also we are being sponsored by the lovely Nicki from Bunny Zoe Crafts so please show your support!

I have chosen to use the gorgeously quirky image from Simply Sassy called 'Love a Latte'. These images are great fun to colour and work really well for teens (and us older girlies who just don't wanna grow up!). The papers are once again from my much loved 'Ella Blue' paper pad by GCD.
I have smothered it with loads of roses which I first spritzed with Irridescent Gold Glimmer Mist and finished everything else with Frayed Burlap DI and faux stitching.

Promarker Colour Recipe:
Skin: Blush, Soft Peach
Hair: Sandstone, Cinnamon, Cocoa, Umber
Top and Boots: Tea Green, Grey Green
Skirt: Cinnamon, Shale
Stool Legs: Cool Grey 3, 5
Seat: Slate, Cool Grey 4
Mug: Cool Grey 1, 3

I am entering this in the following challenges:
Allsorts - #96 'For a Special Lady'
Charisma Cardz - #12 'Birthday for a Teen'
Craft Your Days Away - #16 'For a Mum or Special Lady'

Well I had better go as I have a lovely class of ladies to teach this morning followed by a very boring and tedious stocktake. Hey ho wish me luck!
Happy crafting!

Spring has Sprung at Magical Mondays!

Good morning all in blogland,
Thank you for stopping by I hope you all had a lovely weekend. I had a great day crafting yesterday with my mum and did loads of brainstorming for new and exciting classes to run in the shop.
Well it's that time again, time for another fabulous challenge over at Magical Mondays. There were loads of amazing entries for our last 'Lace' challenge so I hope to see lots of entries for todays challenge. This time we want to see 'Springtime' colours so dig out those fresh florals and pretty prints but remember you must use a magical image to be in with a chance to win. This week we have a sheet of 'Sweet Pea' stamps up for grabs which have kindly been donated by our very own Jayne, thanks hunny!!

so for my DT creation I decided to make a tealight holder card and went ultra 'springy' with my green and yellow (yes yellow! as many of you know yellow is not my first choice) dotty dp's. The gorgeous cutie is from LOTV AND as usual I coloured her with Promarkers. The lacey border was created with a fab EK Success deep edger punch then as you can see I went a little mad with flowers and finished with a metal charm, stardust stickles on the wings and a sprinkling of tiny pearls.

I almost forgot the fab sentiment stamp is from Hero Arts and one of my very favourites.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
Simon Says - 'No Cook Recipe' 1 Image, 2 dp's and 3 Embellishments (Charm, Flowers, Pearls)
Passion for Promarkers - #89 'Sugar Rush' (super girly I took the 'use as many flowers as you like' a bit literally!)
By the Cute and Girly - 'Springtime'
Stampin for the Weekend - #5 'Springtime'
Cute Card Thursday - #154 'Signs of Spring'
The Crafty Pad - #111 'Use a Ribbon'
Bunny Zoes Crafts - #9 'Spring Flowers Everywhere!'

Promarker Colour Recipe:
Skin: Blush, Dusky Pink
Hair: Ivory, Buttercup, Tulip Yellow, Gold
