Skater Boy

Good afternoon everyone, I hope you are all enjoying the sunshine. It has been really hot here for the last few days. Sunday saw our town craft market which kept me very busy but was great fun. Lovely that so many of you came to visit my shop and have a good natter about anything crafty. Anyway, Greetings Farm finally arrived in store and I have been itching to get some of these gorgeous characters inked up. So firstly here is the adoreable Skater Ian. I have teamed him with the fab new 'Oliver' DP's from Basic Grey and some black coredinations card which I embossed with the stars Cuttlebug folder and then sanded.
Watch out for lots more from the Farm!!
I will be entering him in the following challenges:

A Gift From The Heart

Wow hello again,
can't believe this is my 3rd post in a week. This gift box was inspired by my last project. When I made my last card (Smelling the Roses) I thought the design would make a great box lid so I developed the idea and created a 6" x 6" box and sandwiched it between 2 chipboard panels that had been covered using Cappella DP's from Basic Grey. I did choose to use a different image as I hadn't inked up the beautiful Daisy for ages.
I feel I'll be making alot more of these come Christmas time. Anyway I am entering this project into the following challenges:

http://abc-challenge.blogspot.com/ - X is for Xtra dimension (chipboard box with large handmade flower)
http://colorthrowdown.blogspot.com/ - #98 Colour Challenge 'Blush Blossom, Choc Chip, Mellow Moss'
http://crazy4challenges.blogspot.com/ - Paper Flowers (made my own distressed paper peony)

I was in a real fairytale mood so decided to ink up the beautiful 'Longing Tilda' and 'Castle Window' I wanted a vintage feel so I chose the new Capella papers from Basic Grey, distressed it with Walnut Stain ink and added lots of faux stitching.
The sketch comes from Allsorts Challenge blog and was really good fun to use.

Baby Hedgehog

Hey, hope everyone had a great weekend!
I had a lovely day today as I got to spoil the best dad in the world and also got lots of crafting done what a day!!
Anyway today I thought I'd tackle the new challenge over at Sweet Stampin Challenge Blog, they want to see a clean and simple card. I don't normally do clean and simple so it was a bit of a challenge not to over embellish but in the end I came up with this baby boy card. I used the gorgeous Penny Black baby set of clear stamps and the very crisp and clean set of Blue Jean paper from Doodlebug. The other card I made today should be posted tomorrow as it's not quite finished as it is definately not clean and simple.

Tilda's Book of Spells....

Hi everyone, did promise I'd be back soon. I wanted to share my latest creation with you so here is my 'Book of Spells'. As a huge Harry Potter fan I just love the new Magical Tilda's and couldn't wait to use them in a project, so I created this file folder and included some fun spell card inside.
DP's are from the Bittersweet collection from Basic Grey, the swirls are from a Marianne D creatables die set. I used a Martha Stewart punch to trim the front flap and doodled with a pen to create faux stitching. Added lots of gems, a ton of stickles and a sprinkling of fairy dust and it was all finished.

I am entering this in the following challenges:
