Something Old, Something New......and some Very Exciting News!!!

Good morning folks,
Well do I have some exciting news to share with you today. This week I received an invitation from the fabulous Suzie Sugar to join her amazing team over at Totally Tilda and once I'd calmed my lil ol self down you can guess what I said "A BIG FAT YES!!"
So I would like to say a massive thank you to Suzie for having the faith in me to join such a talented bunch of girlies.
So I have my TTC debut creation to share with you today. This fortnight we want to see you create a project incorporating Tilda holding a flower or bunch of flowers. We are sponsored this week by the lovely Nicki from Bunny Zoe Crafts.
I chose to use the beautiful bride Tilda and her lovely groom Edwin and created this wedding favour with matching gift box.

I got these clear baubles into the shop last year and I just love using them, they come in two halves with a disc that fits inside, so they make a fabulous container for very 3 dimensional creations.

The reverse side of the bauble I chose to use my all time fave Magnolia sentiment stamp added some MS butterflies and some srummy confetti.

Little close up of the lovely couple:

Everything has been distressed with Pumice Stone DI and I added some bling with clear stardust glitter pen.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
MDUC - #139 'Bingo' (I used Dies/Punches, Flowers, Glitter/Bling)
Cupcake Crafts - #184 'Going Round in Circles'
Simon Says - 'Let's Play Bingo' (I used Charms on the gift box hearts and rings, Punches and Die Cuts and Ribon)
Cute Card Thursday - 'Anything Goes'
Papertake Weekly - 'Bingo' (I used Die Cuts, Free and Glitter)

Well Happy Crafting and a massive thank you to all my lovely followers for all your continued support watch this space for some fab celebratory candy very soon.

Big Hugs

ABC Challenge I is for.... In Pairs

Morning all!
Well it's that time again, another fabulous challenge over at ABC. This time we are up to the letter 'I' so we want to see things 'In Pairs'. Immediately I thought of couples and as we are nearing Valentines day I thought I'd dig out the super sweet Kissing Edwin and Shy Tilda as they make such a lovely pair.

I went for a shabby chic look with kitsch DP's and plenty of distressing. The gorgeous hearts are from an MS punch and the swirls are Marrianne D. Everything was edged with Pumice Stone DI then I added faux stitching and stardust stickles for detail. The cloud effect background was created with a handmade card cloud template and blue chalk.

Rebel Edwin!!! E is for Easel Cards

Good morning!,
Yeah it's time for another challenge over at ABC and this time we want to see Easel cards, we are lucky to be sponsored by Secret Crafter so worth a go. I thought it was about time I made a card for the boys so here is the lovely Grafitti Edwin from Magnolia. I also used the Brickwall and Grafitti Happy Birthday to create the scene.

I used black Coredinations and embossed it with a Cuttlebug embossing folder then sanded it to give it a grungey look. The stars and arrows were cut on the Cricut and I added some MS Punched buttons to add some colour. The Easel is held up with a silver metal star brad. I hope you like him, he is definately one of my favourite Edwins.

Robin Hood - 'One for the Boys'

Good Evening all,
Hope every one of you had a good weekend. I had a wonderful birthday and received loads of gorgeous handmade cards which I am very grateful for, they will definately stay on display for a long time.
Anyway thought I 'd share with you my latest Magnolia card. I love this image of Edwin dressed as Robin Hood and I couldn't wait to ink him up so here is the result. I kept the card kinda simple as obviously flowers weren't really suitable so I opted for some ferns, raffia and pearls. I also used the new Tim Holtz alphabet Sizzlits die to add the 'wanted' sign. Inside the card reads 'A Special Birthday for a Special Boy'. I am entering him in the following challenges:
Magnolia Down Under Challenge #57 - Birthdays
Ooh-la-la Challenge #59 - Birthday

Y is for... You & Me DT card

Morning everyone, well today is rather exciting as I am joining the

I have created this wedding card using the gorgeous 'Loving Couple' stamp from Magnolia and created a background scene using the 'Rose Arch' which I masked and then overstamped with the 'Butterfly Background' to create depth. I also added loads of stickles to the roses some lace, organza ribbon and a little metal heart charm to finish.

Anyway I hope you liked my first DT card and I'd just like to say a huge thank you to the lovely Vicky from ABC for inviting me to join the team.

Once again used my ProMarkers to colour and trimmed with the very useful Martha Sterwart heart border punch.
The challenge this week over at http://justmagnolia.blogspot.com is really easy 'Anything Goes' week 52 so I am entering this over there.

Edwin in Black and White

Good morning.
I hope everyone had a great weekend. Yesterday was pretty close to a perfect day for me. I spent all morning having retail therapy and all afternoon crafting. It doesn't get much better than that now does it?
Anyway this week over at Just Magnolia they had a great sketch challenge so I got busy and this is what I came up with. Charming Edwin in black and white. I used the new Papermania Capsule Collection Papers, Ribbon and Petals from the Monochrome set which all coordinate beautifully. I mounted Edwin onto frames cut using the Nellie's Multi Frame dies which add nice detail.
I thought I would also enter this over at Quixotic Paperie as there theme this week is Monochrome. As usual Edwin is coloured with Promarkers.

Challenges I am entering:
http://justmagnolia.blogspot.com/ - Week 48 'A Sketch by Jane'
http://quixoticpaperie.blogspot.com/ - Challenge 18 'Monochromatic'
http://designdollies.blogspot.com - Feeling a Little Blingy (include 3 different blingy items eg Stickles, Glitter Brads, Gems)
