Magical Mondays Challenge 'Love'

Morning all,
Sorry this has to be a quick post but I have loads to do in the shop today! Anyway I am thrilled to be back with the wonderful Magical Mondays DT and would like to thank Vicky again for giving me a little break to get sorted. Well today the theme for the challenge over at Magical Mondays is 'Love' so we want to see hearts and romance in bucket loads. We are being sponsered by our very own Lacey and her fab shop Stamp and Create so please go and check out the fab prize she has put up.

I chose to use this beautiful fairy from Paper Makeup teamed with this gorgeous collection of DP's from MME (I think the collection is called 'Be Loved'). I used a whole heap of nesties on this card as well as the Marianne D circle scallop die. I used promarkers to colour as usual and distressed everything with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink.

I am entering this in the following challenges:
Friday Sketchers - Challenge #140 'sponsored by Stempel-Phantasien'
Allsorts - Week 89 'Love, Love, Love'
I Love Promarkers - Week 51 'Anything Goes but you must use ProMarkers'

Magical Monday's 'Back to Nature' Challenge DT Card

Good Morning Bloggers!
It's time again for another challenge over at Magaical Mondays this time we're getting 'Back to Nature' so think leaves, trees, flowers etc. We are very lucky to be sponsored by Wild Orchid Crafts so make sure you join us!

I decided to make a gift box using the gorgeous 'Indian Summer' DP's from Basic Grey which I distressed with Walnut Stain and then added faux stitching to. The sketch came from Friday Sketchers and was a joy to use. Obviously I went for an autumnally feel so I embellished with twiggy brances and punched leaves. The large flower is by Papermania and was coloured with ProMarkers. This beautiful image from Sweet Pea was coloured with ProMarkers and distressed with Spiced Marmalade and Barn Door Distress Ink. The whole box has been sprayed with Irridescent Gold Glimmer Mist and to add extra sparkle the wings and rose have been seriously Stickled!

I am entering this in the following challenges:
Friday Sketchers - #122 'Sketch'
Simon Says - It's Autumn'

ProMarker Colour Recipe:
Skin: Saffron, Pale Pink
Hair: Raw Sienna, Terracotta, Henna
Dress: Soft Peach, Peach, Burgandy
Wings: Apricot, Ginger

Leaves: Pear Green

Hope you all have a great crafty week

Underwater Fun

Good morning,
Hope everyone had a fab weekend. We had a monsoon on Sunday so am hoping for some sunshine this week! Anyway I had a great day crafting as the weather wasn't good enough for much else yeah!
So, today see's a new challenge over at ABC and it's a wonderful one. This time we want to see creations with the theme of 'Under the Sea'. We are being sponsored by our very own lovely Lacey and her store Stamp and Create. I would like to say a huge thank you to Lacey as she provided all of the DT with a fabulous stamp of their choice and a package of other lovely goodies. I chose to use the beautiful Calliope from Kraftin Kimmie along with some stunning Dp's from the Kioshi collection from Basic Grey. The gorgeous silk ribbon was from Lacey and the stamped greeting (which I use all the time) was a freebie from DoCrafts magazine. I used my ProMarkers to colour and added Glossy Accents to the cute octopus and added some flat back pearls as bubbles. I loved using this sketch which is the challenge over at I love ProMarkers.
Anyway thanks for looking and also thank you in advance to all of you who take the time to leave a much appreciated comment. I hope to find lots of your creations over at ABC and can't wait to getting hopping round your blogs.
Hugs

Z is for Zig Zag..... ABC Challenge DT Card

Good morning everyone,
Well I think finally all this sunshine has gone to my head, I almost seem incapable of using my trademark earthy brown tones at the moment which would normally be distressed to within an inch of their life. So I'll just have to show you another card in fun and funky summery tones. So this week on ABC Challenge the theme is Z is for Zig Zag ie a tri fold card etc and it is being sponsered by the wonderful Lacey. I have chosen to use the fab 'Dressy Anya' collection from The Greetings Farm along with one of my favourite paper collections 'Quite Contrary' from MME. I also used the sketch from Quirky Crafts which was great fun to work with. This week Crazy 4 Challenges wanted to see buttons on your projects so I added some Sizzix buttons to finish. Finally the theme over at Totally Gorjuss is 'Thinking of You'.

A Gift From The Heart

Wow hello again,
can't believe this is my 3rd post in a week. This gift box was inspired by my last project. When I made my last card (Smelling the Roses) I thought the design would make a great box lid so I developed the idea and created a 6" x 6" box and sandwiched it between 2 chipboard panels that had been covered using Cappella DP's from Basic Grey. I did choose to use a different image as I hadn't inked up the beautiful Daisy for ages.
I feel I'll be making alot more of these come Christmas time. Anyway I am entering this project into the following challenges:

http://abc-challenge.blogspot.com/ - X is for Xtra dimension (chipboard box with large handmade flower)
http://colorthrowdown.blogspot.com/ - #98 Colour Challenge 'Blush Blossom, Choc Chip, Mellow Moss'
http://crazy4challenges.blogspot.com/ - Paper Flowers (made my own distressed paper peony)

Super dimensional flower

Something a Little Different

Now for something a little different......
I managed to tear myself away from my Tilda and Sugar Nellie stamps just long enough to make a card for my 'Vintage Floral' workshop this week. I love these papers from Graphic 45 just hadn't used them for a while. So I teamed them with vintage lace, a gorgeous frame stamp from Hero Arts and a great sentiment stamp from Magnolia. The punched flowers are from Nellie Snellen and include the new XL Flower Petal Punch and Leaf which emboss beautifully.

That all from me for today but I should be posting some more projects this week.

I just want to wish all the girls in the Quixotic Stampers team who are competing in the TGF Battle Royale lots of luck as your creations are all gorgeous.
