The Finished Article

Evening all,
Just a quick post tonight. I wanted to share with you the notebooks I made for my lovely friends this Christmas. As money seems to be a bit tight for everyone we decided to handmake our pressies for each other this year and had great fun in the process.

I made a simpler version of one of these notebooks a few months ago but these needed to be a bit special. I must add that I recieved 2 wonderful handmade gifts in return and feel this will become a Christmas tradition.
Hope to post again soon as I have quite a few new projects to share with you.

Happy Crafting

F is for...........Frosty

Good afternoon hmph!!Apologies my post was scheduled to appear this morning but Blogger seemed to have other ideas. Also just spent the last 2 hours trying to correct my lovely background that had shrunken to a ridiculous size (deep sigh!)
Ok so I have climbed off my soap box and my rant is over, back to normality (well sort of).
I am sharing with you today a frosty creation for the F is for Frosty challenge over at ABC. This time we are sponsored by the fabulous Lily of the Valley who has kindly donated a £10 voucher for the lucky winner.

Again not an easy card to photograph but I have done my best. This first shot shows the front of my card which when opened reveals a complete circle of frostiness!

A birdseye viewof the open card. The glitter and bling does not show so well but you get the idea. A great way to showcase lots of scrummy Tilda's.

As always I coloured using my trusty Promarkers and then layered these cuties onto snowflake embossed panels.

Hope you enjoyed my creation and I look forward to seeing your entries into the ABC challenge.

E is for.........Embossing!

Morning all,
I hope everyone of you is well and not suffering with the many bugs that seem to be going round.
Well it's time for yet another fab challenge over at ABC and this time we want to see your wonderful projects using Embossing. We are sponsered this time by the fabulous Ribbon Girl so grab your embossing folders or embossing powder and get creating.

I have just received these beautiful clear baubles into the shop and I couldn't wait to get them filled. For the first I used this oh so cute deer stamp from Stampavie. Coloured with Promarkers and mounted onto a panel that was embossed with a Cuttlebug snowflake folder.

For my second bauble I chose to use the beautiful angel from Magnolia, coloured simply with Promarkers and then filled with pretty little irridescent heart confetti.
Apologies for the photos but these are really difficult to get a good photograph of.

Floral Christmas

Good evening all!
Wow how fast is Christmas approaching, is it just me or did October just fly!. Well hopefully I will be able to catch up with my posts very soon as I have exhibited at my last show of the year now so I can concentrate on other projects.
I wanted to share with you a Christmas card I have made using yet another gorgeous stamp sheet from Chocolate Baroque. I love this poinsettia image and once stamped it just cried out to be decoupaged.

As usual I have used Promarkers to colour my image which was stamped onto kraft card then further images were stamped onto smooth stamping card and were used for the layers.
I tore the bottom of the kraft card, distressed the edges with Frayed Burlap DI and added some faux stitching before attaching it to a white A6 card.

I am entering this into the following challenges:
Crafty Catz - #107 'Anything Goes'
Cute Card Thursday - #190 'Reds For Rememberance'
Paper Sundaes - #94 'Rectangle'
Allsorts - #128 'Anything but Square'
