Krafty Graphic 45 Photo Frame

Hi peeps,
Firstly a belated Happy New Year to all my lovely friends in blogland, I hope you have a fabulous crafty year!!
Well here is the second frame that I made using Graphic 45 'kraft collection'. I love this collection as it has some amazing quotes and designs.

I started by painting the frame then adding Frayed Burlap DI to distress all the fab detailing on the frame. Then using the yummy DP's I created a picture which I layered up and faux stitched. I have to say that the quote is a little ironic "I'm creative, you can't expect me to be neat too" as my friend is the neatest person I know and I love her for it! Again I created the flowers using some pre-made mulberry paper flowers and added some die cut flowers and leaves of my own using matching papers.
Hope you like it

French Country Decorated Frame

Hi peeps,
I hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas and would like to wish you all a very happy New Year.
Finally I can share with you a few of the projects that have taken up my time lately. Every year me and my besties make Christmas gifts for each other and this year I decided to make photo frames. For the first frame I used some gorgeous papers from the beautiful Graphic 45 collection 'French Country'.
I started by painting the frame then adding shabby white frantage to distress it. Then using the yummy DP's I created a picture which I decoupaged and faux stitched. I then created the flowers using some pre-made mulberry paper flowers and added some die cut flowers and leaves of my own using matching papers.
Well I hope you like it, I'll be back soon with my next project.

Basic Grey Challenge 'Happy Christmas'

Good morning peeps,
Well it's time for another fab challenge over at Basic Grey Challenges - and it is another super easy theme. This time we want to see your Christmas designs, but remember to include a product from Basic Grey.
As many of you know I find CAS cards really difficult but I thought I'd give it another go:

I love this cutie Tilda she looks really warm and cosy all wrapped up. The gorgeous pre distressed green DP is from the Oliver collection from BG and I love it as it perfectly matches my fave Promarker 'Pear Green'.
The lovely sentiment is from Stampendous. Still not sure about the CAS design but I'm sure I'll give it another go soon.

Frosty Christmas Candy Cane

Hi peeps,
Sorry bit late posting this but been pretty down in the dumps as we sadly had to have our beautiful Old English Sheepdog 'Harry' put to sleep. He was a gorgeous gentle giant and will be missed so much.
Well fortunately I did manage to finish my first Christmas gift bag and I used the most adoreable 'Candy Cane' from Saturated Canary. The challenge for the next fortnight over at Basic Grey is 'Cold and Frosty' so I combined DP's from Baisc Grey Wisteria and First Editions Silent Night pad.
The beautiful snowflake border is from Joy Crafts and I smothered them with Stardust Stickles so it is super sparkly. The layout was a fab sketch from Saturated Canary and was such a joy to use.

I coloured this cutie using my trusty Pro's then I distressed everything to within an inch of it's life with Pumice Stone DI, Shabby Blue Frantage and a whole lot more Stickles. I just couldn't resist using the stunning new pearl snowflake swirls from Creative Expressions so I went a bit bananas.

close up to show the beautiful ''Candy Cane'.
Well I hope you you like it and I 'll be back soon when I have had a few days to get my head together.
I am entering this project into the following challenges:
Saturated Canary - #56 'Sketch by Maria Therese'
A Creative Romance - 'Winter Blue's'
Inky Chicks - #17 'Pearls and Swirls'
Deep Ocean - #64 'Winter'
Live and Love Crafts - #17 'Christmas Inspiration Collage'
Addicted To Stamps - 'Punches and Dies'

I'm Back!!!!!

Good morning peeps,
Sorry have been MIA for a few weeks just had to get my head round some family stuff and it meant that Mr Mojo up and left me again.
Anyway I couldn't abandon my lovely teamies at Basic Grey headquarters for too long so I am 100% back in the land of blog!!
Well it's time for another fab challenge over at Basic Grey and this time the theme is "Food and/or Drink" but please remember you do have to use at least 1 product from Basic Grey and let us know what it is.

Ok for my design I used the super sketch from Mojo Monday and it is a real keeper. All the DP's are from the Lemonade collection by BG and of course the lovely cookie Tilda was coloured with my trusty Pro's. The card shape was cut with Grand Nesties Large Labels which I love and the ovals are Spellbinders Floral Ovals. Everything has been edged with Pumice Stone DI then I just added some scrummy flowers and a cute cherry charm.

Close up of Tilda
